Hey, we are James & Gemma!
Our own German Shepherd, Theo, has just turned 18 months! He just loves making friends!
ADL - A Dogs Life started because we struggled to find someone to have Theo in our absence who aligned with our needs, whether it's just for the day whilst we were working or if we go away. We've always wanted somewhere Theo would feel relaxed and have plenty of love, whilst still having structure in his day along with continuing his training.
We both have friends in the world of dog walking/ training and after months of 'what ifs' we have finally taken the plunge!
Our aim is to provide your dog with a home from home experience ensuring they feel at ease the moment they arrive. Therefore we suggest a pre assessment session as this will help us to get to know one another.
Home Boarding
We are based in Feering, Essex, perfect for commuters as we are easily accessed via the A12 or the local train station. ADL offers homely boarding, a friendly alternative to kennels in a safe and secure home all breeds of dogs.
Your lovable pup will become part of the family and enjoy their stay with other dogs boarding including, Theo, our Sable German Shepherd.
They’ll be exercised to meet their individual needs, days out (weather dependent), and of course they will get lots of love and attention.
It is really important to us that your dog is happy and comfortable in our home if boarding with other dogs we will ensure the group is appropriate.
Dog Walking
Walks with ADL will be filled with engagement and fun rather than just a quick walk around the block. Your pup will have opportunities to sniff and explore as well as the physical exercise.
Walks will always be varied, we're lucky to have such beautiful countryside around us, whether that be walks in fields, woodland areas or even alongside rivers. We believe it's important to have different walks to keep your pup curious and simulated!
